Mother/Daughter State Pageant Winners
Yvonne and Jenna Crawford representing North Mississippi won the very first Mississippi's Mother/Daughter Pageant held on Aug. 13, 2005. This will become an annual pageant. It was so emotional and beautiful. Delane Carr and Jentry Poole, representing South Mississippi were first alternates; second alternates were tied between Lynley Burnham and Melissa Magee representing Central Mississippi and Tiffany Holloway and Karen Winstead representing West Mississippi.
We were going to make the Mother/Daughter Pageant a one-time event but since it was so emotional and beautiful, it will become an annual pageant. The 2006
state pageant will take place on October 28, 2006.
