Girls 13 Years Old and Under DO NOT wear pageant dresses at this state pageant. Only the girls 14 years old and older wear them. This has grown into the largest pageant in the state of Mississippi.
The Miss and Mr. Southern Magnolia State Pageant has grown into the largest pageant in Mississippi. The 2004 state pageant had 144 contestants from throughout the Magnolia State. Contestants 13 years old and younger DO NOT wear pageant dresses. Only the older girls do. This is a one day state pageant held in Jackson, Mississippi.
