In the year 2000, Mr. Chris directed several preliminary pageants for the Miss USA system. That year many of his winners made the Top 10 at state and his Miss Teen Tri-County, Jennifer Duke, won the Miss Mississippi Teen USA crown and represented Mississippi at the nationally televised Miss Teen USA Pageant.

Mr. Chris served as the director of the Mrs. Mississippi United States Pageant for 4 years: 1995 1996, 1997 and 1998. He was awarded the Mrs. United States State Director Award one year.

Miss Mississippi Local Pageant Executive Director For Five Years
Mr. Chris was the youngest Miss Mississippi Pageant Local Pageant Executive Director in 1991 at the age of 19. He was a local director for the Miss Copiah County Pageant in 1991 and 1992, and then the local director for the Miss Tri-County Pageant in 1993, 1994, and 1995. He was responsible for helping in awarding over $10,000 in scholarships to his winners during that time.
